How does your stress impact your longevity? Learn body-centered awareness to de-stress.
Look at each picture for 5 seconds and notice how your body feels with each image:
Did you notice how your body felt while looking at each image? Where did you notice any tension? Was your mind calmer or busier?
The mind assigns meaning to everything… and the body responds to everything the mind is thinking… this works in both directions. You can calm the mind so that the body will relax AND… You can train the body to relax to calm the mind! This communication between the mind and the body is referred to as the Mind/Body Connection.
Where do you feel tension (stress) in your body?
We are most aware of where we feel chronic stress or tension in our bodies (tight shoulders & neck, low back pain, etc), but what if we can learn to recognize the subtle signals of accumulating stress before we are experiencing that chronic pattern yet again? You can create shift!

Our bodies are infinitely clever. They can be trained away from our chronic patterns of tension and anxiety. That is, if we learn to tune into the more subtle messages of the body and respond consistently with these quick and easy tools for self-care.
